no probs! yeah, outside the US the good piercing studios can be more spread apart :( not impossible though. and if you absolutely can’t find someone that carries it, my studio would be more than happy to get them to you!
they are internally threaded for sure. external threads are a definite no-no, though most European external threads tend to be recessed, a bit better than the external styles found here. and how the mechanism works, is the the post and the backing (either a small ball or flat disk) are one piece, and the front is secured with a detachable (and interchangeable!) adjustable tension pin-no threading, it just pulls apart and pushes together! i believe you can see little diagrams on Neometal’s website. they’re really easy to use and extremely secure. i’ve worn them for years and years and haven’t had a single issue with them!
